Hi there!
My name’s Danielle, and I’m a student who’s dedicated to helping other students succeed.

I'm currently a senior at Bryn Athyn College, majoring in Human Society with a minor in English. I'm fascinated by history, literature, and writing, and I hope to spend my career working with students in a higher education setting. My goal is to help you achieve your goals – especially your academic goals – in any way that I can!
My Story
If you’re anything like me, college is probably something you have a lot of questions about. Before I started my first year at Bryn Athyn College in 2019, I had been homeschooled for nearly ten years, and I had no idea what to expect! Everything about college – including leaving home, choosing a major, and making new friends – was brand new for me. I was so excited… but I was also incredibly intimidated. Was my time at college going to be fun, scary, or both?

Once I started college, it quickly became clear that college could be both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. I got to have lots of life-changing experiences, such as getting an exciting internship, meeting my best friend, and building connections with my professors. I managed to choose a major and get involved in fun on-campus jobs, including tutoring and giving campus tours.
However, I was also faced with everyday problems that I’d never had to think about much when I was at home. How do I balance my schedule between classes, work, friends, sleep, etc.? Who do I ask for help if I’m struggling in a course or can’t figure out how to do an assignment? What should I do if I my friends and I are having a conflict? How do I make a difference on campus? What’s the best way to spend my free time?

Now, I’m almost ready to graduate – but I STILL have even more questions! What comes after college? How can I prepare for living in the real world? How do I start investing for the future? How do I create a resume and land a full-time job? How do I decide where to live and start looking for an apartment there?

It almost seems like, no matter what, there will always be more questions – which is exactly why I’ve created this blog.
Whether you’re a fresh face on campus or a senior preparing to graduate, my goal is to help make college a little less scary. I hope to use my own college experience to improve your experience, helping your college years be as fun, rewarding, and stress-free as possible!
